For example, ROSSWAG ENGINEERING uses the SLM process to build up complex geometries on heavy-duty, forged blanks with appropriate grain flow- with the same alloy as the base part. The BLUE POWER ATOMIZATION PLANTS have been particularly designed for the flexible and economic production of small-scale metal powder batches. Main applications are for example Additive Manufacturing and MIM applications with the need for high quality powders with high purity, sphericity and reproducible size distribution or the production of test material in R&D.
They are available with capacities from 1.5 to 25 liters and cover a temperature range up to 2,000°C, depending on the model. Depending on the type of atomization, metal powder can be produced in particle sizes of 1-200 μm.
For accurate powder particle size classification, we offer AIR CLASSIFIERS that are also optimized for small volumes and frequent alloy changes.
